Hackatopia was a 3 day workshop for children to explores the advent of emerging technology and changes in our resources and how we interact with things in our everyday life.

In participating in this workshop students realised their ability to transform or rethink objects and uses, and applied this thinking to a broader picture of looking at our urban changing environment. We guided the students to focus on rethinking aspects of the environment which will become obsolete in the future. The pieces students created reflected the worries and hopes of the future.

The drawings, objects made of recycled material and videos has been exhibited at The Gallery at the Dockyards in Chatham, Kent.
